Funeral services for Mae Graves Johnson, 87 year old Kaycee woman who passed away early Monday morning at the Amie Holt Care Center in Buffalo, will be held Saturday, January 5th at 11:00 a.m. from the Adams Funeral Home in Buffalo with Pastor Mark Largent officiating. Visitation will be held from the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m.

The Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce held the drawing for the Christmas Stroll Button grand prize Monday and Brent Johnston is the lucky winner of $1,000 in Chamber Bucks. Here's what it sounded like as Johnston got the call.

Roger Clive Bishop, age 76, of Gillette, WY died Friday, December 28, 2012 at his second home in Story, WY due to a long battle with cancer.

Vendeta (Vennie) Fox passed away on December 29, 2012 at the age of 100.
Vennie was born on April 14, 1912 in Davis City, Iowa. Her parents were Charles and Jesse (Daniels) Wheeler.

Sheridan County Year in Review: October Through December

With today being the final day of 2012, we conclude our series on the year in review for Sheridan County with a look back at October through December. October was all about breast cancer awareness, as the 4th annual “Link-Partners in Pink,” breast cancer awareness walk/run was held in Sheridan.

Next Tuesday, January 8th, the 62nd Wyoming Legislature will convene in Cheyenne at noon.

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams are off until Thursday when they open a tournament in Riverton.

The open Thursday against Casper Kelly Walsh and we will have both games live for you with the Lady Broncs at 5:30 and the Broncs at 7:00 on 14-10 KWYO and 87.7 FM ESPN radio.

BH / TR BASKETBALL - The Big Horn Rams and Lady Rams start 2013 at home against Wright Friday while the Tongue River Eagles and Lady Eagles restart their season on Friday as well with home games against Moorcroft.
