Saturday's 8th annual RENEW (Rehabilitation Enterprises of North Eastern Wyoming) Shoot Out at the Sheridan County Gun Club was blessed with great weather and a great turnout.

Oil Tanker Crash Closes I-25

The Wyoming Highway Patrol has announced Interstate 25 is closed due to a an oil tanker crash near Wheatland. Troopers estimate approximately 200 barrels of crude oil and cargo have spilled on the highway because the tanker was breached during the crash.

The 3rd Thursday Street Festival Committee has announced the winner of the trip for two to Cancun that was part of a summer long raffle. Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Dixie Johnson.

50 students from Sheridan High School held a pink glove dance flash mob Wednesday in the school cafeteria to kick-off this year's t-shirt sales for the 3rd annual Pink Bronc Day September 28th.

Gilead Wildfire Eats Another 240 Acres

The Gilead Wildfire, burning near Buffalo and Story, grew 240 acres over the last two days, and officials with the National Incident Response Team estimate the fire's total size to be 6,000 acres.
