The Sheridan County Sheriff’s Office will be providing 2 dedicated School Resource Offices to Sheridan County School District 1 Schools starting next school year.
An agreement between Sheridan County and Sustainable Forestry Consulting, Inc. of Buffalo has been approved by the county commission for fuel mitigation work in the Story area.

Refreshments, live music and a chance to bid on a lot of great items drew people to Sheridan College Saturday night for the 37th annual Friends of the Library Auction.
The Sheridan County Library System will have it’s door open as usual on Saturday even though the Friends of the Library Auction is set for that evening. They will however, be closing the entryways on Monday in observance of Veterans Day.

Donations of $75,000 from the Homer and Janet Scott Foundation and $10,000 from the Booster Club were announced at the meeting of Sheridan County School District 2 trustees Monday night.
Classes will be dismissed early at all schools in Sheridan County School District 2 on Thursday, Nov. 7, and there will be no school on Friday, Nov. 8, due to parent/teacher conferences on those days.
