MDU Power Outage Early Thursday Caused by Transmission Line

At approximately 2:15 Thursday morning, residents in Sheridan County lost power. According to information from Montana-Dakota Utilities, the cause of the outage was related to a transmission line that runs from the PP&L substation to MDU’s substation.

The Story Woman’s Club Annual Turkey Dinner

On Sunday the Story Woman’s club is hosting their annual Turkey Dinner. In addition to the dinner, the club will be selling 50/50 raffle tickets as well as raffle tickets for the Centennial Quilt that celebrates their 100 year anniversary. The drawing will take place at the event.

Hundreds of fourth graders from all three of Sheridan County's school districts went to the Exhibit Hall at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds Tuesday for the ag expo hosted by the Sheridan County CattleWomen.
