Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on April 25, 1919.

Several Sheridan businessmen have called the work of men with pick and shovels on the Story-Tunnel Hill Road “the biggest thing that Sheridan has done in a long while.” The work was done yesterday.

Dancing and entertainment begins tonight, and every night hereafter, from 8:30 to midnight at the Sheridan Inn.

Willis Spear is building an additional porch to his home on Wyoming avenue.

D.W. Jones has rented the Balcom home on Coffeen Avenue.

Ladies’ fancy Paradise Plume Hats, in all that is new and popular, are $10.50 each at the Golden Rule store.
