A Look Back in Time: Aug. 5, 1919

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Aug. 5, 1919.

Berton B. Reed has returned from his six weeks outing in the east. While away, he visited Chicago, Buffalo, Elmira, Washington and other points of interest.

The Ben Holstein ranch on Pass creek has just been sold to C.W. Miller and Dr. Schunk. Mr. Miller has occupied this ranch as a renter for some time past. The consideration has not been made public.

Lou, the Tamale Man, is cooking those good hamburgers and tamales with gas now.

Reed’s has a new shipment of Georgette blouses, priced from $7.98 to $16.50.

D. Mullen from Clearmont made a trip to Sheridan today.
