A Look Back in Time: Dec. 21, 1919

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Dec. 21, 1919.

W. D. Fisher, secretary of Sheridan Commercial club and the Custer Battlefield Hiway association, returned today after spending 10 days visiting various towns in Wyoming and South Dakota that are on the highway. He reports that more than $2 million will be spent on the highway in South Dakota during the coming year.

A fight broke out in the Bon Ton restaurant tonight because a waiter in the restaurant made a charge of 10 cents for an extra piece of butter.

Misses Helen and Martha Whedon left yesterday for Clearmont to spend the holiday with their parents.

Very beautiful Christmas services were held tonight in many of the Sheridan churches.
