A Look Back in Time: Jan. 10, 1920

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Jan. 10, 1920.


William E. Mason, whose disappearance Thursday gave his relatives considerable concern, returned home today. He went to Acme to visit friends and neglected to tell his brother, with whom he lived, where he was going.

Fire of unknown origin destroyed a livery barn in Clearmont at noon today. The building, a large quantity of hay, an automobile and tools used in a part of the barn that served as a garage were completely destroyed.

E. S. Townsend is a visitor in Sheridan today from his ranch on Big Goose.

Mr. and Mrs. George F. Yarwood of Buffalo are in Sheridan, visiting at the home of Mrs. Yarwood’s sister, Mrs. F. J. Kelly.
