A Look Back in Time: Jan. 12, 1920

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Jan. 12, 1920.


At least the three largest of the eight paving districts created by the city commissioners will probably be paved. One paving district has been lost as a result of two-thirds protest, and the fate of the remaining four districts still is undetermined.

Rees Davis was re-appointed building inspector for the coming two years at the city council meeting this morning.

A Dayton man was bound over to district court today to answer to a charge of selling mortgaged cattle without the consent of the mortgager.

C. P. Haigler, a prominent ranchman from the Arvada vicinity, is spending the day in Sheridan.
