A Look Back in Time: Jan. 23, 1920

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Jan. 23, 1920.


Enumeration of the census in Sheridan closed last night after an extension of time had been granted to allow for the listing of any families that had been overlooked. No information on the population can be secured at this time.

Bert Bateman, a mine run switch operator, is confined to his home at 38 West Fifth street after being injured in a fall from the top of a boxcar at Dietz No. 8 Tuesday. His injuries are reportedly not serious.
