A Look Back in Time: June 20, 1919

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on June 20, 1919.


By a vote of 15 to 0, electors of School District No. 7 yesterday voted to issue school bonds in the amount of $50,000 to be applied to construction of a $100,000 school building, which will replace Central school.

Restrictions in the use of water for sprinkling under the districting plan for Sheridan will be in full force tomorrow morning.

R.B. Williams of Banner left today on Engine 41 for Tacoma, Washington.

Men’s dress straw hats are specially priced at 25 cents each in the New York Store’s Bargain Basement.

Mr. and Mrs. James Amerman of Monarch journeyed to Sheridan earlier this week via auto.
