A Look Back in Time: Nov. 7, 1919

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Nov. 7, 1919.

On the seventh day of the big strike, the strike continues effective and quiet prevails in the Sheridan coal fields.

Troy Wade of Monarch is in Sheridan today. Also in the city are W. H. Johnston and H. C. Jeffers, both of Dayton.

E. F. Roll of Arvada is in Sheridan today on business. He is staying at the Crescent hotel.

Ladies’ fleeced union suits, all styles and sizes, are sale priced for $1.25 at the Golden Rule store.

Mrs. H. O. Punshon is entertaining members of her Sunday school class of St. Peters Church this afternoon and tonight. Games are to be played during the afternoon.
