Mead Emphasizes Fiscal Responsibility

Wyoming governor, Matt Mead, said in a media release today he's disappointed in the results of the presidential election. Mead implied it will be up to state governors to keep their assets in order, and he plans to do that by including drastic cuts to the state's supplemental budget proposal.

Mead said dropping prices on fossil fuels have caused the need for cutbacks, even though many agencies made 10 percent cuts just a few years ago. The full budget proposal will be released at the end of this month.
