Shelter Director Reflects on 2019

2019 was a busy year at the Sheridan Dog and Cat Shelter. Shelter Executive Director Jill Moriarty says that they had about 200 more animals come through the Shelter last year when compared to previous years.

Moriarty said that the growth of Sheridan along with a few other contributing factors are why they are seeing more animals at the shelter.

Moriarty said that they also have more non-traditional animals at the shelter now than in years past, which has also added to the number of animals being higher in 2019 than in years past.
