Two Sheridan County Residents Arrested For Meth Distribution

On Monday, members of the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation, with the assistance of the Wyoming Highway Patrol and Sheridan Police Department, arrested 31-year old Stormy Redman of Sheridan, and 36-year-old Brandon Hanni of Story, for distributing methamphetamine.

According to a news release from the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation, Redman was charged with one count of delivery of a controlled substance-methamphetamine, one count of conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance- methamphetamine, and one count of misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance- methamphetamine. Hanni was charged with one count of delivery of a controlled substance-methamphetamine, and one count of conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance- methamphetamine.

Redman was stopped by a State Trooper as she was leaving work and arrested pursuant to an ongoing criminal investigation. During a subsequent search, a misdemeanor amount of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were discovered, and Redman was transported to the Sheridan County Detention Center. Hanni was arrested outside of a local bar, pursuant to an ongoing criminal investigation. He was transported by the Sheridan Police Department to the Sheridan County Detention Center.

The arrests were the result of a lengthy investigation by the Division of Criminal Investigation, with the assistance of the Sheridan County Sheriff’s Office, Sheridan Police Department and Wyoming Highway Patrol, into a group of individuals involved in the distribution of methamphetamine in the Sheridan area. The investigation is ongoing and further arrests are anticipated.
