Mary Lynn “Marilyn” Toland, 94, of Sheridan, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2020, at the Westview Health Care Center.

Fred Michael Barton, born May 16th, 1959 in Sheridan, WY, two proud parents Elmer and Jeannette, and older sister Lynne. He grew up on the family homestead, Barton “Ranch”, near Arvada, WY, where his love of farming began. With high school came a change with his family’s move to Sheridan where his passion for cars and going fast flourished.

Richard Alvin Bowers, 92, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, went peacefully to live eternally with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 22, 2020, at the Davis Hospice Center.

James Hoblit, 75, of Sheridan, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2020, at his residence.

A celebration of the life of Dene Buffington, a 99-year-old Buffalo resident who passed away quietly January 22 at the Amie Holt Care Center in Buffalo, will be held by her family at a time to be announced. Donations in Dene’s memory may be made to the Johnson County Fairgrounds Foundation in care of the Harness Funeral Home at 351 N. Adams in Buffalo.

Carl “Sonny” Reiner passed away on January 23, 2020, of natural causes.
Born in White Haven, PA, Carl was the son of the late Claude and Belva Reiner. He was a graduate of Weatherly High School. Carl served proudly in the marines for three years.

Donnie Gene Lindstrom, 68, of Sheridan, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2020, at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 on Saturday, February 8, 2020, at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds.

Funeral Services for Sherry Tavegie, 71-year-old Buffalo resident who passed away Tuesday morning at the Amie Holt Care Center in Buffalo will be held Wednesday, January 29th at 2:00 p.m. at the Summit Wesleyan Church with Pastors Dan Gay and William Dunlap officiating. Visitation will be held at the Harness Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Funeral services for Gary Packard, 73-year-old Johnson County resident who passed away Thursday afternoon at the Johnson County Health Care Center, surrounded by his family, will be held Friday, January 24th at 2:00 p.m. at the Harness Funeral Home with Larry Brannian officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 a.m.

Grandpa John as he was known to most was one of the kindest but firmest grandpas there ever will be. Between his last 6 months battle with cancer and the last 2 weeks with dang pneumonia, he gained his big angel wings at 82 years young.

A celebration of life for Ted Sutherland, 76-year-old Buffalo resident, who passed away suddenly Tuesday, at his home in Buffalo will be held Saturday, January 25th at 2:00 p.m. at the Moose Lodge in Buffalo with Pastor Tom Saur officiating.
