The TA Health Education Foundation in conjunction with the Wyoming Department of Health and the Prescription Drug Abuse Stakeholders Task Force will be hosting a four day Mental Health and Substance Abuse Training symposium next week in Buffalo.

Freudenthal Calls On Feds To Help Forests

CHEYENNE, (AP) - Governor Dave Freudenthal has asked the head of the U.S. Department of Agriculture to do more to address the damage that bark beetles are inflicting on forests in Wyoming and elsewhere in the West. Freudenthal wrote to Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack this week saying he's increasingly alarmed at the condition of Wyoming's forests.

25-year-old Leo Pinnick entered a not-guilty plea to charges of aggravated assault and battery in 4th Judicial District Court on Wednesday. He was involved in an altercation involving 4 men that took place following the Friday night street dance on rodeo weekend and ended with 2 of them in the hospital.

SHS VOLLEYBALL - Sheridan High School will host the first Border War Volleyball Tournament Saturday. Seven teams will join the Lady Broncs, Gillette along with the Casper schools will be in Sheridan to play Round Robin matches against four from Montana.
