GILLETTE, Wyo. (AP) - A member of the Campbell County Cemetery Board has made her initial court appearance on charges related to her conduct with cemetery and board operations.
Christina Maycock is charged with obtaining property by false pretenses, wrongful appropriation of public property, misuse of office and two count of open meetings violations.
RAMS - The Big Horn Rams have won two in a row and face #1 and 3-0 Glenrock on the road tonight. In the win last week against Wright, the Rams were effective throwing the ball, but head coach Bert Dow says he would like to see the team be more balanced tonight against the Herders.
A flatbed tow truck ran off the highway and burst into flames yesterday afternoon on Interstate 90 just east of Sheridan. 28-year-old Robert Nixon from Shepherd, Montana was driving the truck westbound on the interstate. For unknown reasons the vehicle pulled to the left and ran into the guard rail at a machinery access just west of the Piney Creek Road exit.
Sheridan County Commissioners will have a relatively short agenda for a special meeting to be held on Monday. All 5 of the items for consideration involve some type of construction project. Two separate issues will allow work to begin at the Sheridan County Community Health Building.
Most students attending Sheridan College complete their studies in two years. That means athletic teams rarely have the same rosters from one year to the next. This is also true of the Sheridan College Rodeo Team. This year they have a new instructor, as well. Marc Gilkerson will host his first Sheridan College Rodeo as Head Coach this weekend.
