On Thursday January 14th, members of the Sheridan County Sheriff's Office and the Northeast Enforcement Team arrested Nicholas and Jennifer Edwards both age 33, for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver/marijuana, possession of a controlled substance/methamphetamine and child endangerment.

GILLETTE, (AP) - The parents of a 34-year-old autistic man who was run over while crossing a Gillette street have settled their wrongful death lawsuit with the driver's insurance carrier. According to court documents, Bill Kintner of Gillette was walking to the grocery store in 2008 when he was hit by a vehicle driven by Cole Stoner.
RIVERTON, (AP) - Prosecutors have charged an 18-year-old Riverton man with attempted first degree murder in connection with a stabbing case. Brodey Burnett is being held on a $100,000 bond.
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Republican State Auditor Rita Meyer is lining up as a candidate for Wyoming governor. Meyer's campaign said Thursday that she will hold announcements in Casper and Cheyenne on Tuesday.
Campaign manager Annemarie McCracken confirms that Meyer will announce her candidacy at the events. At least three other Republicans are looking into running for governor in 2010.
