The Sheridan Holiday Inn Atrium was filled with all things wedding related Saturday afternoon, as the annual Sheridan Media Bridal Prevue took place.

About 25 vendors representing everything from catering, photography, travel, housewares, beauty products, reception locations and of course wedding attire were present for prospective couples to visit and gather information.

United States Senator John Barrasso was in Sheridan on Friday and presented a Washington update to the Sheridan Rotary Club. One of the largest concerns for those of us in Wyoming is the current healthcare reform bill. Barrasso spoke to those that would criticize his votes against the current bill as following party line politics.

CHEYENNE, (AP) - Wyoming is disputing federal claims that the state's plans for managing wolves wouldn't ensure a viable minimum population of the animals. The state on Friday filed what could be its last brief in a lawsuit over wolves before the case goes before U.S. District Judge Alan Johnson in Cheyenne January 29th.

CASPER, (AP) - Governor Dave Freudenthal says the future economic climate is too uncertain to justify spending money from the state's rainy-day fund. But Freudenthal is also putting a positive spin on the state's post-energy boom financial situation, comparing funding levels to those of 2003 and 2004.
