DeVerge "D.J." Shelden, 72, of Sheridan, passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2010, at his residence.

A Memorial Service for D.J. Shelden will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, December 1, 2010, at Kane Funeral Home, with Pastor Doug Goodwin officiating. A reception hosted by the Blue Sky Saddle Club will be at the First Christian Church following the service.

Funeral services for Al Reeves, 96 year old long time Buffalo resident who passed away Thursday morning at the Johnson County Health Care Center in Buffalo, will be held Wednesday, December 1st at 2:00 p.m. from the Adams Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Tom Saur officiating. Visitation will be held from the funeral home chapel on Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Thomas Wyman Changes Plea

Thomas and Toni Wyman provided marijuana to several minors, including their two daughters, in 2009.

42-year-old Thomas Wyman changed his plea to Guilty on several counts in 4th Judicial District Court Tuesday. Per a plea agreement with the State, one of the seven counts was dismissed and two were amended to misdemeanor status.

Work To Begin On Big Goose Highway in the Spring

The Wyoming Department of Transportation has awarded a contract to Intermountain Construction and Materials of Gillette for a project on Big Goose Highway. The project will get underway in the spring of 2011 and is expected to be completed by fall of 2011.
