Healy Reservoir in Johnson County is a private reservoir located east of Buffalo on Highway 16 and is open for public use through a contract with the landowner and the Wyoming Game and Fish Department. There have been several recent incidents, however, that may jeopardize public access to the area.
The Sheridan City Council held a special session Monday, where they approved a resolution to move forward with a grant application through the Wyoming Business Council to provide infrastructure for the proposed High-Tech Business Park in north Sheridan. Forward Sheridan and City staff have been working on the grant application, that must be submitted to the Business Council by March 1st.

The 3rd Annual Sheridan Jackalope Jump is a fundraiser to benefit Special Olympics Wyoming. According to event coordinator Kerri Pilcher, the Jackalope Jump was one of seven such fundraisers being held throughout the state.
