Sheridan Recreation District Director Richard Wright

The Sheridan Recreation District Board of Trustees Wednesday night approved the promotion of Chad Aksamit to the position of Sports Specialist II. Aksamit has been with the Rec. District for the past year and a half as the Recreation Specialist.

Sheridan City Council President John Bigelow

The Sheridan City Council budget work sessions continued Wednesday with another round of non-profits applying for optional one cent sales tax monies. It was a lengthy session, as 12 different local non-profit agencies gave a brief rundown of what they do and what the funds would be used for. There are over twenty non-profits applying for one cent funds this year.
