CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Officials are keeping a close watch on rivers that are overflowing their banks in two Wyoming towns. Baggs is on the Little Snake River in Carbon County. Police Chief Ed Owen says the water on Friday afternoon had reached some dikes that were built in town to control flooding two years ago. The Middle Fork of the Powder River runs through Kaycee in Johnson County.

ROCK SPRINGS, Wyo. (AP) - Western Wyoming Community College is getting a new tool that will allow students to test their auto repair work. The college board of trustees has approved spending $50,000 to purchase a chassis dynamometer for the college's automotive technology class.

BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) - A traveling exhibit of 41 full-sized machines based on sketches by Leonardo da Vinci opens later this month at the Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman. In addition to painting the Mona Lisa, da Vinci sketched out plans for pedal-powered flying machines, a war tank, a water-powered sawmill, a wooden bicycle, a parachute and even a gear-powdered robot.

Vision 2020 promotes equality for women.

Sheridan resident, Dr. Juanita Unhoch was one of two Wyoming women chosen to join the Vision 2020 Congress. Vision 2020 is a national project focused on advancing gender equality by energizing the dialog about women and leadership. Only 102 women were chosen out of 1,000, with two selected from Wyoming. Unhoch tells us how she became one of the two.

Sheridan County Courthouse

37-year-old Jason Bowman, and his wife, 53-year-old Jane Bowman, formerly of Sheridan and now residing in Casper, were arraigned in 4th Judicial District Court Thursday on two counts.
