The Sheridan City Council approved the Cloud Peak Ranch 3 Annexation on 1st reading Monday night. The ordinance annexes 557 acres into the City just west of Sheridan High School. City Planning Director Robert Briggs says that the 557 acres isn't one big chunk of land, as it's split between 5th Street.
