Making voting more fair and easier for military personnel and overseas U.S. employees is being implemented for the 2010 elections.
WYOMING NEWS SERVICE, Cheyenne, WY – Wyoming now has a model law to follow to make it easier for military and overseas U.S. residents to cast their vote in the 2010 Primaries and General Election. In the past, those in both categories have had challenges receiving their voting ballots early enough to get them filled out and returned in time to be counted with those stateside.
Last week, media outlets around the state reported on a letter of character reference that Gubernatorial Republican candidate Ron Micheli wrote at the request of Ty McDowell's defense team. McDowell, who has come be known as the Craigslist Rapist, recently received a 60-year sentence for raping a Casper woman in December of 2009.
TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers open their district tournament in Cody Thursday afternoon they play Powell in that game at 1:00. They play the winner of the Casper / Jackson game.
JETS BASEBALL - The Sheridan Jets open their state tournament in Casper Thursday. They open with Laramie at 10:00 am. and will play either the Casper Grizzlies or Cheyenne in the second round.

Monday, we began our series on Republican Gubernatorial Candidate Ron Micheli's criticism of the increases in the state budget during Governor Dave Freudenthal's two terms in office. In part one of our series, Micheli defended his criticisms by pointing out that the state General Fund budget has more than tripled since 2002, and that the state needs to implement a zero-based budgeting process.
