Hunter Injured by Bear in Grand Teton Nat'l Park

MOOSE, Wyo. (AP) - Rangers at Grand Teton National Park are investigating after a bear injured a hunter.

Eileen M. Kumor, 96, of Sheridan, Wyoming, died Sunday, October 30, 2011 in Sheridan Manor.

Mrs. Kumor was born July 19, 1915 in Overly, North Dakota to Melvin and Emma (Svingen) Knutson. She grew up and attended schools in Overly, N. D., Midwest, WY, and Sheridan, WY, and graduated from High School in Chippewa Falls, WI.

2011 4-A STATE VOLLEYBALL CHAMPS!!!

STATE VOLLEYBALL - The Sheridan Lady Broncs ended the volleyball season as the 4-A state champs Saturday in Casper it's the first title for the lady bronc program since 1986.

They beat Laramie 3-1 to win the championship Head coach Wendy Ruby says they made a great run late in the season including winning the regional tournament.

And she says the Lady Broncs proved that small teams can win championships.
