Phase I - Looking Good (updated)

Workers were busy installing signs in the Wyoming-Park Street Planning Area on Wednesday morning. If all goes well the streets of Whittier, Burkitt and Wyoming Avenue in the Phase I area may be opened to traffic by day's end. On April 21st a Memo from the Sheridan City Council went out describing the phase I project.

The 16th Annual Christmas Stroll will kick off the holiday shopping season tonight in downtown Sheridan. Judy Taylor, Chairman of the Christmas Stroll Committee, tells us how it all began.

Evelyn Ilsley Ebzery was born January 18, 1952 to Judge John and Helen Ilsley in Gillette, WY. The family moved to Sheridan in 1964 where Ev graduated high school in 1970. She attended Stephens College in Columbia, MO for two years, graduating from the University of Wyoming with a degree in Marketing in 1973.

Services for Evelyn will be at 10:00 am on Monday, November 28, 2011 at Holy Name Catholic Church with Father Ron Stolcis officiating.

Shores at Lake DeSmet Seeking Paving Variance at Subdivision

The owners of the Shores at Lake DeSmet Subdivision are seeking a variance in their agreement with the county for paving certain roads in the subdivision, and are looking for the county commissioners and the Planning and Zoning Commission to grant the variance.
