Swing Into Christmas is exactly what the Sheridan High School group "Spectrum" did as they sang and performed that medley to kick off the Winter Concert Thursday evening. The entire SHS Vocal Music Department joined in as the evening progressed with selections directed by Ashley Lecholat and accompanied by Lisa Robertson on the piano.

House Hunters Film in Sheridan

Crews from the HGTV recently spent some time filming in Sheridan for an upcoming episode of their hit show House Hunters. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has the story.

Anglers in northeast Wyoming will have a good opportunity to catch some large lake and brook trout this winter as Story Fish Hatchery personnel are in the process of stocking nearly 100 lake trout in Gillette Fishing lake and another 100 into Black Hills Power and Light Pond near Osage.

Visitor's Center Coming to Ranchester

A year and a half after the Town of Ranchester was awarded a Wyoming Business Council Community Development Block Grant in May 2010, an additional Business Ready Communities grant and some matching funds provided by the Town of Ranchester, the Ranchester Entryway Rehabilitation Plan is well underway.

The Ranchester visitor center which should be completed by Spring will provide visitor information about the area and contain a restroom.
The now vacant and leveled parcels of land are located west of the "Ranchester Welcomes You" sign will the new Visitor's Center is going up across the highway to the north.

Barbara Ann Fauth

Barbara Ann Fauth, 67, of Ranchester passed away on Friday, December 2, 2011, at her residence surrounded by her family and friends.

Barbara was born on July 24, 1944, in Pittsburgh, PA, to parents Anthony and Eunice (Bailey) Buechel.

She married Frank Joseph Fauth in1966 in Pittsburgh, PA.

GENERALS / LADY GENERALS BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college basketball teams open conference play last night with games against Little Big Horn community college

The Lady Generals had their struggles early but were able to pull away in the second half for the 77-45 victory. Sophomore Fallon Lewis says they had a tough night but got it together for the win.

The Lady Generals are now 10-2 on the season as Lewis talks about how the first dozen games have gone.
