SHS Interns in Cheyenne

Four Sheridan High School students are interning this Legislative Session in Cheyenne. The first two are there now; Karsyn Lamb and McKenzie Butcher hit the capitol running January 26th.

Although Sheridanites take it for granted, 100-years ago the Trail End was still under construction. Started in 1908, the 13,748 square foot mansion was not occupied until July of 1913. It took about 1-ton of coal each winter day to heat the building - perhaps more on a day like today when February ushered in a -18 degree low temperature. Senators Barrasso and Graham Introduce “Opt Out” Legislation

U.S. Senator John Barrasso

U.S. Senators John Barrasso of Wyoming and Lindsey Graham of South Carolina introduced legislation Tuesday to repeal and replace Obamacare by allowing individual states to opt out of its major provisions.

SHS FRESHMEN HOOPS RE-SCHEDULED

Gillette is not in school today(Tuesday), so Sheridan high school had to reschedule their Frosh basketball games with Sage Valley.

The games will be played next Tuesday February 8th.

Boys will play at Sage, B at 4 and A at 5:30pm while the girls will play here, B at 4:30 and A at 6 pm.
