The Sheridan office of Probation and Parole for the Wyoming DOC is piloting a new way to work with offenders within the community. Sheridan District Supervisor, Tony Garber, says that old approach focused too much on meeting quotas and not on needs.

Since 2000, rabies has been confirmed in Wyoming bats, cats, cows, dogs, foxes, horses, squirrels and skunks. Veterinarian Dr. Karl Musgrave with the Wyoming Department of Health, reminds people about the importance of animal vaccinations.
