CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Authorities have identified the four Colorado family members killed after their vehicle drove into a washed-out section of a mountain highway in Wyoming.

Funeral services for Henry Songer, 73 year old Buffalo resident who passed away quietly on Saturday at the Amie Holt Care Center in Buffalo after a long illness, will be held Thursday, July 21st at 2:00 p.m. from the Adams Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Russ Cahhall officiating. Interment will be in Willow Grove Cemetery with graveside services to follow the funeral.

The Sheridan City Council Monday discuss the contract proposal for EMS with Rocky Mountain.

The decision by the City of Sheridan to contract EMS to Rocky Mountain Ambulance will no doubt be second guessed and scrutinized by many, as it essentially means that 8 firefighters with Sheridan Fire-Rescue will be laid off.

Borderline record-high water levels caused by heavy snowpack in Yellowstone National Park are finally peaking and beginning to recede, according to a release from the park Monday.

The Sheridan County Commissioners approved a $22.7 million dollar budget Tuesday. The general fund budget; $16.3 million, is down 9% from last year's budget.
