Bullis Mortuary in Hardin, Montana says the individual who died in a one-vehicle rollover near the Wyoming-Montana line was 24-year-old Corbin Lastovich of Sheridan.
Author CJ Box will be at Sheridan Stationary this Saturday to sign his latest book: Back of Beyond. The book follows an alcoholic cop, “Cody Hoyt”, who's sponsor is killed in an alleged suicidal cabin fire in Montana.
Due to budget cuts, the Clearmont branch of the Sheridan County Libraries has been closed on Mondays. Following some minor renovations to the library, the branch will open again on Mondays starting September 12.

This Thursday through Saturday, you can “get your geek on” during a sale to benefit the Johnson County Library's Buffalo and Kaycee Branches. Boxes of Star Trek memorabilia and collectibles will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
A number of fires this past weekend in Johnson County kept the county fire department busy. Two grass fires and a vehicle fire were reported and dealt with by the department.
