No Go for the TR Eagles This Year

There will be no football for Tongue River this year.

Word came down late Thursday afternoon from Sheridan County School District One that the Tongue River Eagles High School football team would have to forfeit their season this year.

"Left Yellow Arrows" up and working

The new four-head traffic lights are up and working at Brundage Lane & Coffeen Avenue and at Sugar Lane & Coffeen. As seen here a yellow caution arrow is illuminated allowing traffic to turn left from Coffeen onto Brundage Lane while the other lights remain red - thus allowing traffic in the left turn lane to turn before the opposite flowing traffic light turns green.

Funeral Services for Bob Robinson, 84 year old Buffalo resident who passed away on Wednesday afternoon at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming will be held on Saturday, August 27th at 2:00 p.m. from the Adams Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Ken Kinner officiating. Military graveside rites will be held afterwards at the Willow Grove Cemetery in Buffalo, Wyoming.

Thrift stores in Sheridan have seen more people come through their doors during the down economy, but the Salvation Army isn't getting their normal cash donations in order to keep up with that increase.

Tongue River Junior high football information

There will be a parent meeting August 30th immediately following practice (6:00 pm)
