What High Fast Moving Water?

Spring runoff is a thing of the past as evidenced by this view of Little Goose Creek on Wednesday. And to think it was only a few weeks ago that the Kiwanis Duck Race had to be moved to the Kendrick Pool slide because of safety concerns over the high, fast moving creek water.

The Sheridan Memorial Hospital announced Thursday that the Homer A. and Mildred Scott Foundation has pledged $25,000 to support the new Welch Cancer Center project.

The Story Woman's Club is holding a fundraiser Saturday that will offer a “garden” variety of activities. The Story Home Sampler is a chance for people to tour several homes as well as a couple of gardens in the quiet little mountain community.

3 Die After Semi Hits Car, Jeep Near Billings

BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - The Montana Highway Patrol says a semi tractor-trailer crossed the center line of U.S. Highway 87 north of Billings leading to a fiery three-vehicle crash that killed three people and injured two others.

Finley Arraigned in District Court

A Sheridan man accused of two counts of aggravated assault and battery with a hand gun was arraigned in 4th Judicial District Court Wednesday. Jamison Finley, 24, plead not guilty to both counts and Judge John Fenn set a tentative trial date for January 18.
