Two fires, one in Buffalo and the other in Johnson County, caused damage to property over the weekend.

The Johnson County School District 1 Board of Trustees held their meeting Monday night at the Kaycee School, and adopted goals for themselves and the District.

Oktoberfest Draws 1,300 to Buffalo

Scott Madsen of Buffalo gets into the spirit of Oktoberfest last weekend in Buffalo.

The 2nd Annual Buffalo Oktoberfest was Saturday in Crazy Woman Square, and nearly 1,300 people came through the gate at the event, according to Buffalo Chamber of Commerce Director Angela Jarvis.

SHERIDAN BRONC GOLF - The Broncs repeated as 4-A state champs winning by 14 shots the Broncs were led by Senior Kamrin Allen who also won his second straight Medalist title.

Allen says the Broncs had a great season and to cap it off Saturday with another state title was great.

The Broncs led by three shots heading into the final round as Allen says they felt comfortable playing with the lead even though it was still tight heading into Saturday's round.
