Fundraiser For Jade Harper This Weekend In Buffalo

The Buffalo FFA Alumni are sponsoring a fundraiser barbecue this Friday, July 27th from 4 to 10pm during Crazy Days in downtown Buffalo.

Rec District Will Take Seniors To Heart Mtn, Buffalo Bill Museums

The City of Sheridan' Recreation District is hosting a trip for senior citizens to visit Cody on Wednesday and see the new Heart Mountain Museum as well as the Buffalo Bill Museum there.

Fire Starts Near Rawlins

Firefighters are working to contain a wildfire in southern Wyoming.


August 4th--football parent/player meeting 4 pm in the SHS auditorium 9-12 grade players and parents

August 6th—first day of practice for football, 7 am, 9-12 grade

August 13th—first day of practice for all other fall sports (Volleyball, Golf, Girls swimming, Cross country, Tennis)

August 18th SHS Booster Club Shootout Golf Scramble Noon at the Powder Horn, 4 person shotgun start, including meal and coaches program

August 22nd SHS Booster club annual fall BBQ 5:30 pm at high school followed by fall sports parent meeting at 7 pm in Auditorium


There were two tournament finals played on Sunday at the BHEC The Photo Imaging Cup and the Cloud Peak Bowl.

In the Photo Imaging Cup, Sheridan Seed Co. defeated Big Horn Beverage 9-6.

MVP, sponsored as always by Kiwi Katering, was Julie Nicholson for Sheridan
Seed Co.

Best Playing Pony was "Peek-a-Boo", owned and played by Paul Wollenman of Big Horn Beverage.

Dayton Days Set to Begin This Week

The 36th annual Dayton Days will begin this week with the annual Cow Pie Classic golf scramble at 5 pm with a BBQ to follow. Dayton Mayor Bob Wood says that this year, it's all about the ladies.
