Earlier this week Sheridan Media reported that Sheridan College had been ranked among the top 15 percent of veteran friendly colleges in the nation.

Buffalo's Sports Fields Complex under construction.

Buffalo's new sports fields complex which is currently under construction is coming together nicely and starting to take shape, according to City/County Engineer Wayne Hill.

The Johnson County School District Board of Trustees got an update on the ongoing Cloud Peak School Project from District Business Manager Matt Ramey, and also discussed commissioning the building when it is completed.

50 students from Sheridan High School held a pink glove dance flash mob Wednesday in the school cafeteria to kick-off this year's t-shirt sales for the 3rd annual Pink Bronc Day September 28th.

Sheridan College received another sizable gift that will go toward the capital campaign for the Thorne-Rider Student Center renovation and expansion project.

The Gilead Fire northwest of Buffalo has seen little growth in the last 24 hours and containment still sits at 38%, according to the latest media release from Incident Command this morning.
