Former Sheridan probation officer Chris Yager, who's up on second-degree sexual assault charges, pleaded not guilty this morning in district court.

SC Generals basketball team ranked in the NJCAA preseason basketball top 25

The National Junior college athletic association has released it's Men's basketball preseason top 25 poll.

The Sheridan college Generals are ranked 21st in the first poll of the year.

The Generals and Lady Generals host a tournament tomorrow and Saturday at the Hoffman dome.

Funeral services for Mary Canoy 90 year old long time Buffalo resident who passed away peacefully Saturday, at the Maryville Nursing Home in Beaverton, Oregon, will be held Tuesday, November 5th at 2:00 p.m. from the Harness Funeral Home Chapel in Buffalo with Pastor William Dunlap officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Residents and friends of the Sheridan Inn have known for decades about Miss Kate, the benevolent ghost that was the inn's caretaker in life and is believed by some to have continued the duty in death.
