Verda Mae (Dinius) Taylor of Sheridan, Wyoming, passed away on November 10, 2013 at the Green House Living for Sheridan. Verda was born on May 29, 1930, in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. She was the only child of the late Archie and Juanita (Osmun) Dinius.

Buffalo celebrated Veterans Day by holding their annual ceremonies at the War Memorial Wall Monday morning beginning at 11am, to observe the Armistice that took effect on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, to end hostilities during World War I.

SHERIDAN COLLEGE HOOPS - The Sheridan college Lady Generals are 4-1 on the season they split games against Gillette and Casper over this past weekend.

Head coach Frank McCarthy says they had the Air Force Academy cancel their tournament in Colorado Springs so they got together with Gillette and Casper and it was good to see to really good teams early in the season.

And he says five games into the season the team is starting to come together

Buffalo Celebrates Veterans Day

The intersection of Fort and Main Streets was temporarily closed Monday morning as citizens from Buffalo, led by the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and delegates from Boys and Girls State celebrated all veterans past and present during ceremonies at the Veteran's Memorial Wall.
