The tax of six cents on the dollar for Sheridan County will stay the same. The Capital Facilities Tax passed Tuesday, with just over a third of the 15,000 registered voters casting a ballot.
Voters in Sheridan County overwhelmingly were in support of the capital facilities tax, as almost 68 percent voted in favor of renewal of the tax in Tuesday's election. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has more.
