Police Officer Honored For Work With Kids

Volunteers of America Northern Rockies Camp P.O.S.T.C.A.R.D. is a free week-long camp designed to benefit the most deserving fifth and sixth graders through direct involvement and mentoring with a variety of law enforcement and criminal justice professionals.

Cutting your own Christmas tree has become a family tradition for many throughout the years. Permits are now available from the Bighorn National Forest at their offices in Lovell, Buffalo and Sheridan.

Funeral services for Dorothy G. Painter, 91 year old Buffalo woman who passed away Thursday morning at the Amie Holt Care Center in Buffalo, will be held Monday, November 11th, at 9:00 a.m. from the St. Luke’s Episcopal Church with Father Doug Wasinger officiating. Burial will be in Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado at a later date.

Officials with the National Park Service say an upgrade to the power service is greatly needed for Yellowstone National Park, but before changes are made, public comment is needed.

Council Says No Kids In Bars After 10

Underage children will not be allowed to eat in bars in Ranchester unless they are accompanied by a parent, and no minor will be allowed to eat in a bar after 10 o'clock even if a parent is with the child.

As reported Wednesday, the Sheridan County Commission voted down the proposed flood plain management plan, after months of open discussions and public meetings.

The Home crowd has been sparse the last three home games including the playoff opener last Friday against Laramie.

Head coach Don Julian says the players and worked very hard to get themselves into this position and would like to see all the fans come out tomorrow night.

YMCA/Rec Center Eyes Grace Field Land

Mike Quast, Director of the Johnson County Family YMCA, spoke with both the city council and the county commission Tuesday to gain support from them to pursue a land ownership issue that needs to be resolved at the state level.
