Khen Rinpoche to Visit Sheridan

Sheridan has a special guest visiting on Sunday and Monday. He's a Tibetan Buddhist monk who began his monastic life at the age of seven, and most recently was the head of a monastery in southern India.

State Water Supply and Snowpack Remain Below Normal

The National Weather Service has released the latest water supply outlook and snowpack report for Wyoming. The report shows that much of the state remains below average.

The Sheridan Planning Commission Monday unanimously recommended the approval of phase two of development for the Poplar Grove Planned Unit Development. The development is located in northeast Sheridan, just northwest of Skeels Street and Aspen Trail - and spans 32 acres in its entirety.

JCSD1 To Replace Bleachers At Buffalo High School

At their meeting Monday night, the Johnson County School District One Board of Trustees voted to replace the bleachers in the gymnasiums at Buffalo High School.

Johnson County 4H Carnival Fundraiser Friday At BHS

Johnson County 4H will be having their annual Carnival fundraiser this Friday evening at Buffalo High School.

4-H Youth Educator Rachel Vardiman said the event is one of the major fundraisers for 4H during the year.

Buffalo Police Chief: New Dispatcher, Compliance Checks

At their last meeting, the Buffalo City Council received the report from Police Chief Jason Carder.

Carder said the department has hired a new dispatcher, Tyson Reiger, that will start this coming Saturday, March 16th.

Chamber Hosts Legislator Luncheon

Sheridan's Chamber of Commerce is hosting its monthly luncheon tomorrow afternoon at the Best Western Sheridan Center.
