Wyoming Attorney General Urges Court to Rule Against Supt. Hill

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - The Wyoming Attorney General's Office is urging the state Supreme Court to rule against Superintendent of Public Instruction Cindy Hill's legal challenge to the recent state law that stripped her office of many of its powers.

Betty E. Mittelstadt, 83, of Parkman, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at the Memorial Hospital of Sheridan following a massive stroke.

Betty was born in 1929 in Beach, ND to Alvin and Frances (Fulton) Woodsend who were farmers in Golden Valley County, ND. In 1937 they moved to Fallon County, near Carlyle, MT.

John Edward “Jack” Miech, 73, of Parkman, WY passed away peacefully at his residence on Wednesday. April 24, 2013 with his family by his side.

Graveside Services will be held 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 5, 2013 at the Sheridan Elks Memorial Cemetery with full Military Honors. A Reception will follow in the Kane Reception Hall.

Paul Hando

Paul A. Hando, 70, passed away on July 2, 2013, at his residence. Paul was born to Ambrose and Ethel (Williams) Hando.

As the milk truck was passing the Hando ranch, near Leiter, Wyoming, on the morning of January 28, 1943, Mrs. Hando told the milkman that she was having a baby and asked him to take her to the hospital in Gillette. Paul was born on the way in the back of the milk truck.
