The scars from last year's Gilead Fire are still visible at the Rock Creek Recommended Wilderness Area a few miles north of Buffalo. But adjacent to the dozer lines are dozens and dozens of wildflowers that have since spawned and matured.

Arzy Family Donates Bighorn Sheep Mount to Sheridan Game & Fish Office

Former warden with the Wyoming Game and Fish Department, Raymond F. Arzy, passed away on Thursday, June 20 in Sheridan. But just a couple of weeks before he passed, Arzy and his family decided to donate his cherished bighorn sheep mount.

Story Man Killed in I-90 Rollover on Sunday

A Story man was killed Sunday after wrecking his pickup truck on Interstate 90 just six miles from Sheridan less than a mile from the Meade Creek exit. 30 year-old David Wayne Wallace died from his injuries after being transported to Sheridan Memorial Hospital.

David was born in Casper, WY on March 17, 1983 to parents Ricky Wayne and Sharon Nancy (Weston) Wallace. He enjoyed building things, motorcycles, the outdoors, cars, trucks, and antique cars. He loved his family.
