Trustees for Sheridan County School District #2 voted 5-1 in favor of renewing a contract for the upcoming school year with Volunteers of America for the Accountability Change in Education, or ACE program.

It's their first day in Sheridan, and they have already left quite an impression. Volunteers with Up with People from around the world, some as far as Switzerland, some from other states, spent Tuesday working on building a new mini park and barbecue area behind RENEW in Sheridan.

Arthur M. Rosalez, 55, of Sheridan, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2013 at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital.

Art was born in Basin, WY on July 15, 1958 to parents Silverio and Alvina (Molina) Rosalez.

Art loved the mountains, outdoors, fishing and spending time with his family and enjoyed his grandchildren. He worked in construction most of his life.
