This past Tuesday a special election was held for voters to decide if they wanted to approve a bond issue in support of expanding Sheridan College's Tech program. The bond issue was defeated but what if there was another way to pay for improvements for the Tech Center without raising taxes?

Twenty-Seven Years of Story Days

It was the 27th annual Story Days this last weekend and what a weekend it was. Beginning Friday with a Dutch Oven Cook-Off and ending Sunday with a church service and potluck lunch, there was something for everyone, old and young alike.


HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL - The Broncs open the 2013 4-A season Friday night at Laramie, Head coach Don Julian says after two weeks of two a days the Broncs change to game week mode.

And Julian says the first two weeks were very productive for the Broncs.

The Rams, Tongue River and NSI will play zero week scrimmages this week and open the regular season September 6th.

The Rams open at home with Greybull the Eagles open at home against Rocky Mountain, NSI will play 6-man this year and opens at Dubois.

Sheridan County Library System Receives Grant to Host the “The Big Read”

BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - A preliminary report on a fatal Montana plane crash suggests the accident came after the pilot overflew his approach to a runway and tried to compensate by turning more sharply.
