UW Launches Professional Land Management Program

This fall the University of Wyoming will be launching their new nationally accredited Professional Land Management program. Program Director Don Roth says UW’s program is one of just nine in North America accredited by the American Association of Professional Landmen.

Commission Approves Horse Wagering, Hires Tree Mitigation Coordinator

The Sheridan County Commission approved resolutions today to allow pari-mutuel betting on horse races and to hire a fire mitigation coordinator for Story.

Fred H. Phillippi passed away Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013 in the Big Horn Mts. He was born May 15, 1944 in Miles City, MT to Fred and Ellen Hough Phillippi, the first of six children. He graduated from Powder River County High School, Broadus, MT and was a proud member of their 1961 Montana State Championship football team.
