Council Awards Bid for High Tech Park Landscaping

The Sheridan High Tech Business Park landscaping project consists of the installation of 54 trees and a drip irrigation system for the trees along High Tech Road within the business park in north Sheridan.

Wrench Ranch II Annexation to be Amended

Although the Sheridan City Council approved the second reading of the Wrench Ranch II annexation, there will be some changes to the ordinance when it comes before the Council for third reading.

Strengthening International Education in Wyoming

The University of Wyoming has concluded a two-year study to assess what it can do to strengthen international education in Wyoming. Anne Alexander is the director of International Programs at the University and served as co-chair of the study.

Commissioners Consider Flood Plan Update, Grant Liquor License Transfer to New Business, Hear Horse Racing Proposal

The Sheridan County Commission approved consideration of a new floodplain management plan, granted a transfer of a liquor license for a new business and heard a proposal for pari-mutual wagering on horse racing during Tuesday’s regular meeting at the courthouse.

And this one, as the reverse side reads: "2013 Champion Steer Roper" goes to Rio Lohse who took home $1512.00 from Don King Days and ends the year in 4th Place in the WSRA (Wyoming Steer Roping Association) with a total of $7531.83.

TENNIS / VOLLEYBALL RESULTS / "MICHELLE LUDWIG" X-COUNTRY THIS WEEKEND

TENNIS - The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams hosted matches with Natrona county Tuesday the Broncs won 4-1 the Lady Broncs lost 3-2.

The Broncs will play at a tournament in Scottsbluff, Nebraska this weekend the Lady Broncs are off.

VOLLEYBALL - The Lady Bronc volleyball team was swept in Gillette last night in their first conference match of the new season.

The Lady Broncs along with Big Horn and Tongue River will all compete this weekend at the Gillette invitational tournament.
