Broncs Sweep Cheyenne Schools on Senior Night

Sheridan Bronc Freshman Hayden Hastings in the 138-pound weight division had the first win of the evening for Sheridan on Senior Night against Cheyenne East's Levi Romsa in a pin @ 3:43. With Hayden's help the Broncs swept the Cheyenne Schools: 43 to 27 over East and 51 to 25 over Central.

Mildred M. Russell passed away peacefully at Sheridan Manor in Sheridan, WY, on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at the age of 98. She was born March 19, 1915, on her family's ranch south of Arvada, WY to Issac T. and Bernice (Rowland) Stott. She had 4 sisters and 5 brothers, who always affectionately called her Babe. She married Jasper E. Russell in 1933.

On night two of auditions for the 2014 "Stars of Tomorrow" 7-grader Taylor Greig tap danced in golf attire on the WYO Theater Stage. Taylor is competing in division 3 and hoping to get a chance to perform at Sheridan's "Stars of Tomorrow" show later in February.

Grace Christler, 90, of Sheridan, WY died Thursday, January 30, 2014, in her Sheridan home.

Viewing will be 11:00am until 3:00pm on Monday (Feb. 3rd) from Champion Ferries Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be 1:00pm on Tuesday from First Baptist Church with the Rev. Ken Doolin officiating.
Interment will be in the Quiet Rest Cemetery near Story, WY.
